Hot Garlic Pomfret
Ingredients:-
1) Pomfret Fish - 4 pieces
2) Oil
- 1/2 cup
3)
Salt- 2tbs (for marinating the fish) & 1&1/2 tsp (for Souse) (as per
taste)
4) Lime Juice – half lemon juice
5) Garlic - 7 cloves
6)
Onion – 2 big sizes (cut into cubes)
7)
Capsicum – half (cut into cubes)
8)
Tomato souce - 3tbs
9)
Soya souse – 1tbs
10)
Red Chili paste – 1 tbs (if u want more hot flavor you can add more)
11)
Sugar – 1tsp
12)
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
13) Cornflour – 4 tbs
Method:-
1) At first
marinate the fish with salt and lime juice & keep it aside for atleast 1 hour,
it will help to get rid of from the raw smell of the fish and add extra flavor
to this dish
2) Then coat it
in conflour & soya sauce mixture
3) Now take a
frying pan add oil (left 2tbs) allow this to get hot,
4) Now add the
fish for frying(fry it slightly)
5) After that
keep them aside
6) Add remaining
oil & chopped garlic into it and sauté
it
7) Add cubed
onion and tomato & sauté it
8) After a min
add cubed capsicum
9) Add red chili
paste stir it well
10) Now add soya
& tomato souce (If u want to add red chilly souse add it )
11) Add some
water
12) Now time to season
the sauce add salt pepper and sugar as per taste
13) Add red
chili powder & stir it
14) After a boil
add fried fishes
15) Put the fish
into the mixture & coat it from both side(since it is a very soft fish stirring
should be modest)
After 4 - 5 min, turn the gas off and serve it…
